READY-LITE™ began manufacturing Emergency Lighting equipment in 1967 in Victoria, British Columbia. From those small beginnings grew the company represented by the products you see today. With modest beginnings as a small cottage industry, READY-LITE™ has grown into one of the largest Emergency Lighting equipment manufacturers in Canada.

READY-LITE™ has always been known for superior customer service, product dependability and market knowledge. Over the years, our growth in the Canadian market has flourished. We have a network of Sales Agents and Company Sales Representatives from Coast to Coast. In addition to excellent representation in our Sales Division, we have a Full Service Quotations department based out of our sales office in Surrey, British Columbia.

Our manufacturing facility is in Saanichton, British Columbia, just minutes north of Victoria on Vancouver Island. This 16,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Saanichton is almost four times the size of the original facility, where a small group of dedicated employees started production many years ago.

In 1998 READY-LITE™ was purchased by THOMAS & BETTS INC. and is now part of one of the world's largest manufacturers of electrical products.
